Desmos Warmup and Exploration Activities (Geometry)

$5.00

This tool is a compilation of different Desmos explorations I’ve created. They are fairly simple and are intended to be used as warm-ups/explorations of new concepts. The way I use these in my class is by linking the specific exploration to their Google Classroom (or other common space) and having them get started on it as they enter the classroom (Bell Ringer).

Hello teachers! Thank you for choosing Peak State Mathematics to be a part of your classroom.

I will add different prompts depending on what I want them to notice. For example, if I were using the Triangle Sum Theorem Exploration, I would ask the prompt, “As you move the vertices around, what do you notice about the angles?” I may then follow that up in a couple minutes with, “More specifically, what do you notice about the sum of the 3 interior angles?”

After we have explored and gotten our brains warmed up, I would continue into the lesson with the statements they have provided me during their exploration and discovery!

Here are two free samples!

You’ll also get a FREE BONUS of my Constructions Project on Desmos/FlipGrid!

Have an awesome day! Remember to always learn in Peak State!
