Welcome back Building Connections with Staff Week! The big idea is to get a nugget of wisdom every time you connect. You don’t need to switch up your whole teaching practice, and it’s a waste of time to come in close minded. Find that nugget to take with you. And connecting with your fellow staff is beyond the classroom, beyond the PLC, beyond school. Connect as humans and create healthy adult relationships with your staff. This will help you build a team around you and make you a happier human so that you can show up better for your students in the long run.

Welcome back to another great connection activity! This week is Connections with Staff Week and K-Dub is going to take us through some lunch time activities and appreciation activities. Sometimes we do a great job of building relationships with students and take our relationships and connections with our fellow staff members for granted. Just like any relationship in our life, we need to be very intentional to build and grow those connections. Whether its hanging out during lunch or slapping a post it note on your colleagues door or window during their class saying I appreciate you, be intentional in building your adult relationships as well!
